Hi, I’m Sue Nichols.

My specialty is strategic science and research communications. You'll find pandas, tigers and far-away locations in my work. There are also major placements like the New York Times and Time Magazine, presence in high-impact journals, as well as a track record of strong institutional messaging, long-term strategies that nurture scientific efforts and keep them linked to their place and persons of origin.

I'm a journalist. I'm an elected American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellow. I have a decades of experience as a writer and an editor. In my career, my work and my successes span from environmental sciences to nuclear physics to medicine. I serve as co-PI on major research grants. My results can begin long before your research results are achieved and I help non-scientists understand and appreciate scientific work.

The common thread? Turning information into assets that are clear and compelling. I show the passion, expertise and value that key audiences can hear. And remember.

So you don’t have to have pandas, just a desire to match your goals with a clear, accessible expression of your work, capabilities and accomplishments.
